Watching his dark stare take in every inch of her, Taylor had a momentary worry her knees would buckle. Her heart fluttered, and she forced herself to walk toward the restroom. Casually, so to appear unaffected, she slid open the bathroom door and stepped inside. As the door closed, the sound of laughter and music dulled to a low hum.
Closing her eyes, she inhaled a deep breath. Then, hurrying across the room, she pressed her hands against the cool edges of the sink and stared in the mirror.
